could you please sit in the back instead of the front row if your going to insist on wearing them short skirts?
Ha, then you won't get mad if I get drunk and sleep naked during your next sermon?
good morning brothers and sisters!
are you ready for some spiritual food today?
well good!

That always seemed such a shame. There are *8* people on the earth, and we only know 4 of their names. How much would it have bulked up the Bible to go ahead and name them? It's like on Gilligan's Island, in the opening theme. They name Gilligan, the skipper too. The millionaire, and his wife. The moviestar! AND THE REST! "The rest"? There are *2* more people! Name them, for God's sake, give them a reason to exist!
Dave, you are so funny!!! What a great parable.
Noah's wife was Sharon, Ham's was Sandy, and Shem's was Cindy. Canaan's wife was Rhonda, who later turned into a wicked prostitute. Anymore questions my son
Gumby, you sure YOUR real name isn't HAM?

and we need to take full advantage of the days which have been "cut short"!!
Totally bitchin' pictures like this...
after much deliberation, i decided to go "out" at the end of a public talk.
it didn't go down too well, but at least i was able to give some of my reasons for leaving.. i've put some of the details on my homepage.
i'll update it more when i get the time and the strength.
Oh my, I didn't even know about this! I must miss a lot of threads...
That is so awesome that you did that. What courage!
Hugs,
Nancy
my older sister, always a devout jw, or so we were led to believe......recently left home and went to live with her boyfriend!
hubby and self are faders, fading very nicely so far.
we went round for sunday dinner at my parents, who are devout jws and they had also invited my sister and her boyfriend.
lets focus people!
dont forget us old birds!
cindy.... we need to have lunch.. just you, me and a glow in the dark monkey.
it's been a while since the society has been specific about what kind of music to avoid hasn't it?.
the last i remember was when the said to stay away from rap and heavy metal.
that was a while ago.
Instead of Snoop Doggy Dogg (as he was called then) the speaker called him Snoopy Dog Dog. People laughed so hard that no one took anything the speaker said seriously after that.
undercover this made me giggle so hard!
I know this is off topic, but it reminds me of when there was an announcement about a Watchtower CD-Rom coming out and instead of saying "rom" my dad kept saying it spelled out. You know, C-D-R-O-M. A lot of the younger kids who knew about computers were snickering loudly at my poor dad who knew nothing about computers and didn't know what an R-O-M was.
isn't that sad that all those people who put their trust in god, and did good deads to help one another will all die because they couldn't figure out the "riddle" of the true religion.. i see my old parents go to church (catholic) every week, and they truly believe that they will be saved.
is there a religion that doesn't think that they won't be saved?.
if the witnesses are right, over 99.99% of beleivers will die at armageddon, and 100% of unbelievers will die at armageddon.
Do they have any idea "how many" have not and will not hear their message? About a few billion....that's how many. If armageddon came within 5 years....there would still be billions who have never heard of the idiots.
Ha, Gumby!
I remember hearing this as well. I also remember thinking when I heard this in my teenage years that I wished I had been born into a different family that never answered their door or heard "the message" This way I could have done all the JW no no stuff and still make it into the beautiful paradise where I would ride my panda bear and have perfect skin.
